Becoming a Member
Most people visit UUF services a few times before they decide to become a voting member of the congregation. While membership is not required to participate in most aspects of church life, such as attending events and classes, only members may vote on matters that come before the congregation.
To become a member, you contact someone on the Membership Committee, sign the membership book, and commit to a financial and/or service pledge. If you are new to Unitarian Universalism, it is recommended that you attend New Member Orientation classes when they are offered. There you will learn about the history of our religious movement and about our congregation.
